Born in 1931, Kwasniewska is a Polish artist born in Varsovia, Poland. She studied at the Beaux-Arts Institute of Cracow.  She moved to Paris where she studied printmaking under Johnny Friedlaender.  In 1963, the Friends of the National Museum of Modern Art, Paris, awarded her first prize for foreign painter.
